Today we visited a Bible/English school for children. They all chant verses and stories LOUDLY in unison. The school is run by an old country gal named Doris and two Khmer teachers. I'm hoping the kids will learn to speak with a Southern accent. Though they still don't know much English, we had a great time talking and playing with the kids.
We all worked up a great sweat learning a couple of new games, which isn't difficult to do in Cambodia. We only spent a little time helping the kids with their English, but I believe we managed to encourage the students. We look forward to going back next Wednesday to help teach and get to know them better! It's nice for us to have an excuse to play too.
